Hi @JillL1 

 

If a Plus subscription meets your needs, just re-iterating what I mentioned to @CoolSteel. In most cases a Premier file can be changed to a Plus file (or Standard), just not by MYOB, they can, but they will not do this for you.

 

If you want to use the same company file with a Plus subscription, get in touch with MYOX Services. A fee would apply however you would soon recover this from the reduced subscription.

Hi @Princess_R 

 

Could I have a clear answer please?    Surely MYOB know what each version of the software does and what the differences are.   Please explain it to me.    Giving me multiple pieces of information that I need to gather together, and hope I don't miss anything, surely is not the only way?

I have tried every possible user id and password to no avail.  It is pre-filled with 'Administrator' and my password, but nothing is working.  I have tried lots of other possible combinations as well.

I have not used the file for a while but need to access it now.

Total monthly Sales Report

Hi there,

 

In last two years I am ussing MYOB account right. First things that staned me that in MYOB one can not see total Sales (in Sales Register). To have this figure one need to manually calculate total Open and Total closed for that period to find out Total sales.

 

Also, to see total sales per month for ie FY one can not do that with Account right. Most like this basic information are reserved for  AccountRight Plus and Premier only. 

One can go and manually listing month to month and colelcting data on spreadsheet what should be Report already created for user hence they can select only perior to run report.

 

When one look at Report option there are many 'prepopulated' report (ie Sales per Customer, Salesperson..) but to analyse sales non of those option give me any data.

Very disapointing expecially when you taking in consideration $136 monthly charges for MYOB.

 

Now I understand why many people choose Xero rather than MYOB.

 

 

Any suggestion.

I totally get where you're coming from with your frustration about not having a total sales report and the cost of MYOB AccountRight. The Sales Register does offer insights into your sales activities, including open and closed invoices, orders, quotes, returns, credits, and more. Sales reports are great for keeping track of your sales activities. However, if you're on the hunt for specific reports that can give you a total sales figure, I'd recommend posting your request on our AccountRight Idea Exchange board. Our developers regularly review suggestions and ideas for feature enhancements there, so it's a great way to make your voice heard!

If we're reactivating a subscription, we might need to investigate more. We'll take a look at the backup status in our system to see if it's still retrievable. To inform you, there will be a fee for getting that backup. To help us out, could you please confirm the last 4 digits of the serial number of the file they're referring to?

In this scenario, since the default user ID didn't do the trick, I suggest reaching out to our virtual assistant, MOCA, on our website, or you can submit a support request via My Account to get your administrator password reset. They've got the tools and access to help you out and get this right for you.

MYOB AccountRight Basics 2013.0

Hello,


I am trying to restore an old MYOB file to audit, it was created in offline version of MYOB Account Right Basics.
I have since downloaded a copy of MYOB Account Right Server 2013.5 which MYOB Support provided a download link for and advised that my serial number should be compatible with.
However when trying to open the MYOB company file I receive an error stating - "InvalidLicenceToken (100007)" and I cannot seem to find anywhere to install the serial number.

Any help would be much appreciated.

As per checking your account, a backup of your data from a cancelled subscription is still on our system. It only means that, when you renew your subscription, you will be able to retrieve your data. If you'd like to proceed in renewing your subscription, you may use our virtual assistant MOCA to further assist you with this. On the desktop version I'm having the same issue as well.  I can't get past putting in the email address and get to the stage where you put in your second stage of verification.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled to see if it would fix the problem but no change.  Any suggestions anyone?

I am a little bemused that you are all avoiding answering.    I have sifted through the various sources of information and found enough to make a decision, however it could have been much easier with a comprehensive side by side comparison.   No idea why MYOB are trying to hide that.     The advice on loss of data by switching down is enough to put most users of a switch anyway!    The only option to reduce monthly spend is to change providers.

 

I did try MOCA.    Poor MOCA was just as confused at the question and spun around for over an hour before I put him out of his misery and exited.    I tried a few very easy, straight forward questions of MOCA to see how it would work going forward.   None were able to be answered correctly, or even somewhere in the ball park.    Asking how to print a profit & loss report gave instructions on how to remove a Remittance advice from the print queue, amongst other similar and wildly misguided answers.   I will not be rushing back to that option for any other questions.

It might be more beneficial to identify the features you require and those you don't, and ask questions based on these needs. This way, our team can provide a more precise answer.

 

If you're experiencing issues with MOCA responses, I recommend submitting a support ticket via myaccount.myob.com instead.

 

Rest assured, if a document detailing all the differences between the product levels becomes available, we will inform the community.
