Hi 

 

I would recommend taking a look at AccountRight v19 Support Note: Fixing email issues Section Other email issues - Sent emails include an attachment called "Windmail.dat". This contains a small file that can be added to your AccountRight folder that has been known to prevent that message for some clients.  It also has some Outlook setting that can you can look at changing.

UPGRADING TO 2016.1.1

Hi. 

 

I upgraded to 2016.1 last week to solve an issue i was having.  Today the upgrade for 2016.1.1 has been released.  I have tried to install this upgrade and I am getting an error message saying that this program already exists and I need to remove it in add/remove programs in the Control Centre.

 

This doesn't usually happen when I upgrade so I cancelled the upgrade.

 

Does anyone have any thoughts as to why this has occurred?

Its great to hear that you are looking at purchasing an additional AccountRight subscription. I've sent you an email with the quote details. All the payment options are included at the bottom of the quote

Please note that this will not increase the number of company files you are license to use. You are license to use 10 company files, the quote issued does not increase this. It will only allow for one of those currently active 10 company files will be placed online. Do let us know if you would like to increase the number of licensed company files so you can create a new file and upload that.

Move AccountRight 2015 to a different folder

I use AccountRight 2015.4.

My company has disabled .exe files in ../Appdata/local and subdirectories  from running as a security measure. How can I install AccountRight into a different directory on my PC?

Thank you for your response.

 

I have checked my outlook settings and they are set to HTML as advised in the information.

 

This has only started happening since the latest payroll update.

 

If an email is being sent directly through MYOB, it send it as a winmail.dat file.

If i send the invoice/payslip from MYOB to myself first, and then forward the email to the recipient, then it seems to work.

 

i think it is the way myob is sending the file to outlook and not outlook, as when you send the email via outlook it works.

 

Hope this makes sence.

Cannot install latest version - another version is already installed

I cannot update to version 2016.1.18.2675 because I get a message saying another version is already installed and I have to remove the existing version to continue.

I cannot restore the backup version of 2016.01 into 2014.02 AccountRight. As the backup version has obatined all data i need.

 

Any idea i can transform all information to 2014.02 from 2016.01 version .

 

Please help.


Help!!! Windows 10 has ruined everything

HI, 

 

I upgraded wondows to windows 10 and all my issues started.

I was given a temp profile which i did not realise nor did i know that it deleted the profile when you logged out, so i had upgraded and sorted the issues with MYOB (thanks to this community) only for them to be deleted. So when i logged into the computer the next day, it was all gone and the issues came back but this time unable to be fixed.

 

So i uninstalled MYOB and re installed but now it is telling me a service call has failed. Please check your network connection and retry. (I am connected). Clicked retry several times and nothing happened.

 

Please help, i need to get into the company file to run payroll.

Hi 

 

Thanks for the taking the time to speak with me today.

As discussed the quote issued was for an additional AccountRight subscription. This increases the number of files that you can have in the cloud from 2 to 3. We have also deactivated a company file (#5 - Rain...ker) from your account. This has freed up your account so that you can now activate the "new" company file locally and place it into the cloud when that quote is processed.

I have moved my backed up company file and all templates but nmot able to find any where how do I then move the forms into my accountright premier file.

Huxley Error

Hi There,

 

I have Account Right 2011 and all of a sudden when I go to log in it comes up with the Huxley Error - 'Activation Verification Failed'  It also shows the following message - 'Application is null - it should have been set immediately after creating a UICompanyFile'

 

Can anyone help? I was logged in no problems only last week...

Hi ,

 

You cannot downgrade or transform to a lower version, you can only upgrade to a later version. Given AR2016 was released only a week or 2 ago, you should have a backup just before you upgraded to AR2016.

 

When was your last AR2014 backup? As  mentioned, you will need to find this last backup, restore and use that file. You will need to re-enter any transactions you have entered since this last AR2014 backup.

Question about AccountRight 2016 and Premier V19

Hi, from January to March, we use MYOB AccountRight Live 2016.1.1, however, due to the business need we have to record multiple currencies transaction so we have to adopt additional MYOB software premier V19 since April. And we will create a new company file in Premier V19. Here are several things we concern. 

 

1.We want to install and use both systems in one computer, I am afraid that if we install Premier V19.0, we are not allowed to use AR 2016.1.1 any longer in one computer. Any system conflicts that prevent us from using the 2 version at one time will be a big problem. Do we have to worry about the system conflict?

 

2. We will open up 2 company files both in Premier V19 and AR 2016.1.1 since April. I am afraid the 2016 file may be damaged or overwritten by Premier V19 one. If someone happens to open 2016 files in the Premier version, are there any influence happened to the 2016 files? 

 

In other words, we want to make sure that either file of the 2 versions will not cause any change to the other one. Because we need to keep the 2 files safe.

 

3. One of our staffs contacted you this morning and received your invoice. The quote name is 2941318632 . However, the description on the invoice is ' MYOB AccountRight Live Premier Perpetual Licence', we need the AccountRight Premier V19 Licence indeed. So I wonder if we can still use the serial number to activate Premier V19 cause the description is not correct.

Subscription has expired message

We have recently paid our subscription, but am getting a message saying 'Subscription has expired'. From other posts, it looks like MYOB need to do something their end. I am based in the UK and finding it difficult to contact help by phone and the 'Ask a Question' is closed. Can anyone help please?

Can't open AccountRight or upgrade file, and can't find the file on my PC

So I have this Windows error, forbidding me from accessing Account Right.  I'm on Windows 10.

 

I've downloaded the newest version and my online file is fine, but I can't see or upgrade my 2 files which are on my PC.  They are .myox files and my computer is only giving me the option to look for .myo files.  Not finding a solution and getting frustrated!  Any help would be great.

Hi all,

 

I haven't been able to check my emails for a few weeks and have only just spotted the emails sent through from MYOB warning about the Windows Update and the affect it has on AccountRight Basics.

 

I have followed all troubleshooting, updated the right file, ran the hotfix and that worked... but when I tried to confirm itsays that I am unable to confirm the company file.

 

Can I please have assistance with this? I am running AccountRight Basics AU version 2013.1.15.2188

I have the same issue. Our trial finished, entered bank details but it is still saying we have no subscription. Please help ASAP!
