I have recently upgrade from AR 2015.4 to AR2018.2
When i go to open my file in AR2018.2 i cannot find it, because the search option only allows for myo files to be searced, and my file is listed as an MYOX file.
Is there a way to open MYOX files or change an MYOX to MYO file?
I need to download a copy of the AccountRight Basic 2013.0 AU version so I can access my data file. Can you please send me a link?? Thank you.
ok please help me, my old PC has died with my files on it. I loaded the software from a disc and now when i try and open my data file ( luckily had a copy i snet to my accountant) it says that the software is out of date! I pay a monthly sub to MYOB. how do I update the software?

As version 2011 is one of our older versions, we do not have the download link for it any longer. However you are entitled to a free upgrade to version 2013.5. This will not effect the confirming of your file.

About a year ago, we purchased the add-on for "MYOB ODBC Driver v1" so that we may programmatically read the employee card details. Now that we are upgarding to AccountRight 2018.2 and we're finding that our routines don't work anymore.
Does this sound right? Is the "MYOB ODBC Driver v1" still available? Is there an alternative?

We have an employee who will be taking LSL later in the year and they have asked to be paid as a fortnightly pay whilst they are away. Are we able to do this or do we have to pay a lump sum. The employee will be returning once their LSL is up.

Hi, my current laptop that I had downloaded my MYOB Business Basics v1.0 has died and I recently just got a new laptop, but unfortunetly, it does not have a CD Slot of any sorts so I cannot download it. Is there any way I can receive a version of the business basics 1.0 online? (the CD is from June 2004)

I have V18 MYOB having been self-employed in the past. My husband is a partner in a business with a fellow who is an Accountant. This fellow has been preparing the Accounting records for this business for 12 years. He has recently embezzled a large sum of money from us when he (as a conveyancer) sold a property owned by the business and helped himself to this money. He has not been forthcoming in sharing full records with us over the years, and so we can scant files, some of which are MYOB files prepared on V18, so we could ready them. Our solicitor has recently requested full disclosure of all documents that we hope will prove the embezzlement. In the meantime, the business partner has upgraded to V19 and so now we have 12 years of MYOB files prepared on V19, so I cannot read them. I am thinking from threads here that V19 is a pay by month version that I do not need, except to read these files. My solicitor also cannot read them, which means I may have to engage another Accountant just to print out the files, which could cost me a lot of money. I am hoping there is someone who could allow me to open them in V19 with a link or whatever that could assist me here.

I have made a change to the account to allow you to edit these details. This change is usually reserved for listed Owners on the account however there are cases where the account is configured to have the Owner listed as someone who cannot sign into my.MYOB.
You should now be able to edit your business address following these steps:
1. Go to: my.myob.com.au
2. Sign in with the same email you used to log into the Forum.
3. Hover your mouse over My Account and click My Business Details.
4. Click the Green button: Edit Business Details.
5. Begin entering the new address into the relevant fields.
Please note you may need to sign out of my.MYOB if you are still signed in.

This is definitely possible and very common. If you are no longer going to be working on a file and will be creating a new one, we can deactivate that file from your licence so that you have a "free spot" for the new file to be activated.
Some licences do have multiple files that can be active at the same time. To ensure you are having a solution tailored to your licence, can you please send me a Private Message containing your MYOB Serial Number so that I can look it up in our system and let you know what we can do here.

When moving between versions in AccountRight Live (20xx.x) all you need to do is install the latest software and then open your file as normal.
The Upgrade button on the Command Centre is designed to upgrade older Desktop files from AccountRight v19 and below and not to upgrade your 2015 file to 2018.
Simply open the file on your computer to upgrade it, the same steps for this can be found in this support note: Open a company file

Providing you have LSL as a wages category you should be able to pay LSL in the same manner that you pay wages or other leave.

This would be correct as the new AccountRight does not work using an ODBC Driver anymore and we have implemented an Open Source API which you can use to read data from the Database and also write data as needed.
